Comic: Skookum Skool
We’ve already met the Bash Street Kids, which is probably one of the most famous school strips in the history of British comics.
Here’s a rip-off (or do I mean
homage?) to the kids. It’s called Skookum Skool and features a class of
six (later reduced to five) mischievous kids. It ran in Buzz from 1973
to 1975 and later emerged in Cracker in a slightly different form.
Here are some examples; there
are more on the British Comics Compilations website.
