ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that costs were not granted for the defendant's lawyer. That means potentially a significant sum of money lost by the headmaster! Also interesting, two weals visible the following day, is risible compared with the usual evidence for these types of cases. Normally the plaintfiff comes with a doctor's report about bruises visible two or three weeks later. And then the magistrates (righty or wrongly) dismiss it anyway.
