TV Drama: Deweni Inima
Deweni Inima is a soap opera
from Sri Lanka and like all soapies the plot lines are many and often
complicated (click here for more, if you dare). It started in February 2017 and as of November
2022 there had been 1,450 episodes, so you can see it’s a classy production.
This clip (date unknown)
appears to be set at a school (the uniforms they wear is a clue), but the
actors are way too old for the role. Then, along comes a woman who is some kind
of authority figure. She just happens to be carrying a traditional
crook-handled whippy cane and after moaning about something or other, she
lashes out with it.
Bonkers stuff, but a little
different from many of the other clips in this TV Drama series.
