Movie: Rockford
Rockford is
a 1999 Indian English-language, coming-of-age drama. Thirteen-year-old
Rajesh Naidu arrives at Rockford Boys’ High School and having left home for the
first time he is a bit sad. He experiences the joy and agony of living in an
all-male boarding school, learning to fend for himself without the safety net
of his parents.
In this clip Rajesh is in the lavatory (despite his
fear that there are bats around) when two other boys set off a bomb in a
neighbouring stall.
The bully Brother Lawrence publicly beats Rajesh to
get him to give up the names of the two boys. He refuses but the culprits own
up and are awarded with ten strokes of the cane.
