Movie: The Great Brain

The Great Brain is a 1978 American movie that seems to have all but disappeared. It starred the pop singer “Little” Jimmy Osmond and is based on loosely autobiographical novels by John D. Fitzgerald. Osmond plays John’s mischievous older brother Tom, also known as The Great Brain.

In this schoolroom scene Tom refuses to reveal the name of a boy who set loose a frog. He also refuses to take a paddling. The schoolmaster has other ideas and soon has the boy draped across his knee.

The movie doesn’t seem to be commercially available, but is on YouTube.
