Favourite School CP Movie Clips: 17
Private Peaceful, an anti-war movie mostly set in the First World War, is number 17 in my personal all-time
favourite school corporal punishment scenes
from mainstream movies.
The story follows two brothers
Charlie and Tommo Peaceful as they go off to war. This clip shows them at
school in 1908 when after a playground fight the inevitable happens. The caning
feels remarkably authentic even though as is the way of such movies, we
actually see little.
