Movie: Billie Turf, Clip 2

 

Here’s a clip from the decidedly odd Dutch movie series of Billy Bunter, called Billie Turf.

Three were made between 1978 and 1982 and we met the first of them here.

This clip is from the third movie which was called Contra Kwel. Once again Billie is in conflict with schoolmaster Kwel. In the first scene he has fallen asleep in class and when Kwel orders him to read his work in front of the class he steals an exercise book from another pupil and reads from that, only to discover too late his mistake.

In the second scene Billie believes himself to be a hypnotist and tries out his skill on Kwel – with disastrous results.
