Vicar wants whipping machine
A vicar called for the introduction of a
mechanical birching machine to flog criminals. He also said the cane should be
brought back in schools. ‘If a teacher has a cane, it is a great deterrent to
the children,’ he told a local paper in Yorkshire.
The vicar wasn’t the first person to think
