This pic (the black and white one, not the colour one) seems to be one of the very few pics from this era. Where the caning position looks slightly realistic!
ReplyDeleteAltho, it still has that thing with the teacher raising the cane above his head. Which a lot of these pics seem to have, and is maybe slightly less realistic.
Such a long story and then the actual punishment simply described as ‘the headmaster administered a flogging’. Not even mention of the number of strokes.
