Army boys face up to 15 strokes for missing parade
More youngsters undergoing part time Army
training were being caned for missing parade, according to this 1953 news
report. Magistrates in South Africa could impose sentences of up to 15 strokes.

Very nice picture of an army caning in progress. Do they have rules about how many strokes? At least they have not made him take his trousers off.
ReplyDeleteIf you read beneath the photo it says up to 15. But l agree about the picture. I wish l could have seen it happening. What is the victim leaning over? He has a lovely bottom!
