Public [elite] school headmaster
Christopher Wighiwick is looking forward to getting six of the best with his
own canes. And in the garden too!
Mr Wighiwick, 46-year-old head of King’s
College School in Wimbledon, is using his six school canes to prop up a lilac
bush and chrysanthemum bushes instead of punishing pupils.
He inherited the canes when he took over
as headmaster and has been rarely used in the school for years. Mr Wighiwick is
against it completely.
