Celebrating Vex from Sting
Vex was one of the earliest stars of Sting Pictures when the studio was still working out of London. He delighted viewers playing many roles, including, of course, a schoolboy.
A special compilation
video of his work was made (he shared the limelight in it
with another Sting regular, Jamie.) Here’s a preview:
Vex excelled as a schoolboy in the full-length feature Tales from St Datchet’s Academy.
Here, Napier is sent to the headmaster after messing
around in detention. It’s the third time this term. The Head – played by Keith
who was moonlighting from his own CP
Services, London studio – knows exactly what is needed. No
there are no prizes for guessing.
Vex shows the cheeky side of his nature by singing
stupid words to the hymns in chapel in St
Datchet’s Academy, The Epilogue
“It’s stand up for Jesus, not sit down for Christ’s
sake,” the priest chides him after he spanks his bare bottom.
More photos of Vex are on the Feel the Sting website.
