Birthday Spankings ‘uproar’

 

A school community in the United States was reportedly in ‘uproar’ after it became public that ‘mock birthday spankings’ took place at a local school. It emerged that a physical ed. teacher had been ‘celebrating his students’ birthdays with a gymnastic routine that starts with a flip, a toss in the air, mock spankings and then a pinch on the behind for good measure.’

Birthday spankings in US schools were not unknown, and sometimes it cost people their jobs, as we saw here.
