Comic: The Headhunters of Skookhum Skool

 

Comic strips come and comics strips go and sometimes they go and then reappear as something slightly different. Welcome to The Headhunters of Skookhum Skool.

We already met Skookhum Skool (frankly a rip-off of the famous Bash Street Kids) here. The original strip appeared in Buzz from 1973 to 1975. When that comic folded the kids reappeared in 1975 in Cracker as The Headhunters of Skookhum School.

The twist in the new story was that each week a new headteacher would be appointed. They came from different backgrounds and all over the world and by the end of the strip they would have given up their post (defeated by the kids).
