Movie: The Dollar Bottom

 

In The Dollar Bottom, a British short film from 1981, boys at a public (elite) school set up an insurance scheme against being caned by the teachers. The scheme proves so successful that they float the company on the stock market. It is set in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1953.
