Movie: Der Bunker
The 2015 German horror / comedy movie Der
Bunker is about a nameless student who
rents a room at a lake-side home hoping for some peace and quiet. However,
when he arrives he finds that the house is actually a bunker, but he decides to stay anyway.
Soon after, his bizarre landlords begin to
insist that he tutor their son Klaus, who they believe will become President of
the United States, despite being born in Germany. Stranger
still is their insistence Klaus is only eight years old, despite looking far older.
The father acts as a tutor and distributes the punishments, the
mother the rewards. The host family welcomes the student with great
friendliness, at first everything seems fine. But after a while, the parents
use the student more and more as a tutor for their son.
There is no English translation so you’ll have to make of
it what you can ….
