Studio: Brett Stevens
Brett Stevens was one of the most popular stars in the earlier days of Sting Pictures. So much so that in 2017 Sting produced a nearly-two-hour “best of” compilation video Just Brett with his best work (available here).
Below is a six-minute preview taster Sting put out at
the time of its release.
After Sting, Brett set up his own studio and co-opted
many former Sting models to star in his videos. Chief among these were David,
the scamp schoolboy, and Dr Richard Barton, the stern no-nonsense schoolmaster.
Most of the 178 or so videos available
to buy don’t cover traditional school discipline but those
that do are well worth a viewing. Here are a few:
The
Detention features many of the old Sting gang back
together again. The title says it all. The boys are in detention, but they
still haven’t learnt how to behave.
Rudely interrupted features David and Brett. Dr Barton is in the middle of beating David’s bottom with a cane when Brett bursts into the room. Well, such rudeness cannot go unpunished and he soon finds himself stretched across a couple of chairs.
Soon, down come the trousers, and what’s this. He’s
not wearing regulation school uniform underpants. “I didn’t think anyone would
notice,” Brett says, not unreasonably.

The plot of the video is familiar, but when have we
worried about that? Again, regulation underpants are not worn ....
... but that hardly matters if pants are taken down to
enhance the punishment.
