ReplyDeleteAs you say it's a non-story and the headline is totally misleading. The boys are not asking for more caning; they were asking for the headmaster to deal with caning rather than form masters. One suspects their aim was to reduce caning not increase it but unfortunately it seems that classroom caning was going to continue. TR
