Comic: The Colorado Kid 2
Here’s another example of The Colorado Kid; a picture story featuring Spud Branigan, the son of a Colorado trapper, who for reasons that defy logic fetched up at Tupton School, described as ‘the poshest’ public (i.e. elite) school in England. The idea was to turn Spud into a gentleman.
The six-feet tall boy is a fish out of
water and doesn’t understand the rules.
The Colorado Kid appeared in the Hornet
which was published by D. C. Thomson from September 1963 to February 1976,
after which it was merged with the Hotspur.
We met the Kid before, here.
