Wealthier adults back C.P.
A survey in the UK in 1952 found that
people in higher income brackets favoured the use of corporal punishment than
other groups. It didn’t say why this was the case.
Previously, we saw (here)
that in 1977 richer pupils seemed to be subjected to more canings than poorer.
