Comic: The Spooks of St Luke’s

Here’s a comic strip that seems to have more of less disappeared from the face of the earth. It’s the Spooks of St Luke’s and it appeared in Lion comic and then Thunder (or it might have been the other way round, comics were coming and going back in the 1970s).

The story is that the kids at St Luke’s school were helped by friendly ghosts … and that’s about all I know really.

This example shows the schoolteacher threatening to cane the whole class if they don’t do well in a sports competition with rival schools. Step forward the ghosts.
