Comic: Son of Sir

 

Son of Sir had a simple idea. The son of the schoolmaster was also a pupil in his class. The strip appeared in Knockout which ran from 1971 to 1973 and when that closed, reappeared in Whizzer and Chips.

The general idea was that Son was a bit of a teacher’s pet and the teacher doted on him and together they got into scrapes. Often in the final panel both master and son would be caned together (whose fantasy was that?)
