Book of the Month; Old Harrow Days
Old Harrow Days, written by J. G. Cotton Minchin is according to the author himself a collection of
sketches of some Harrow masters and Harrow boys. ‘The affectionate attention of
a lifetime of things Harrovian may to some extent have fitted me to the task.’
Minchen joined Harrow as a
13-year-old boy in 1864. The book was published in 1898 and is available
free-of-charge on several sites on the Internet, including here.
