Six for Sleake
Frank Richards was a prolific author of boys’ stories with many of them set
at posh boarding schools. He wrote so many it is difficult to keep track of them
all and (to be honest) after a while don’t you think many seem to be much the
same? Here is a tale from Felgate school, invoving fourth formers and their
master Mr Charne.

Glendenning’s Book of Sport for Boys (Andrew Dakers: 1958)
