Principal arrested after ‘severe’ paddling


 A high school principal was arrested after two parents complained because he paddled their sons. They said they didn’t object to the punishment, but it had been too severe. It was reported one had been hit eight times and the other eighteen.

  1. Beggs was acquitted and went on to have successful career as an educator and education author. He died in a car crash in 1967.
