Time to bring back the cane?

 

Ten years after corporal punishment was banned in English schools, a local newspaper tested the waters to see if there was a need to reintroduce the cane. The local member of parliament told the Harlow Star, ‘I was beaten at school myself and it did not do me any harm or particular good.’
