It’s after lights out when
Anderson, in his pyjamas, knocks on the door of the headmaster’s study. Matron
has sent him because he was hanging around the banisters.
“You know the rules …” the
headmaster intones. “Stand there … Get those pyjama bottoms down.”

What a handsome boy, and tall! How l would like him to keep his pyjamas on but bend down and touch the floor and wait for his caning.
