The boy who asked for more
Paul Muggins, a Greyfriars schoolboy, has
been told by his father, “The boy who has the courage to ask for more will rise
in this world.” Perhaps, he shouldn’t have taken his father’s words to heart
when he had an encounter with the headmaster. This story is from the Greyfriars
Herald, a supplement to the Magnet story paper. It is supposedly
written by a member of the Remove form, hence the eccentric spelling.
As published in the Magnet, 15
March 1924.
