Meanwhile, back at high school in South Korea. Here’s another selection from the TV drama Unleash Your Dreams (sometimes translated as Realize Your Dreams) from 1999 and featuring contemporary issues, including corporal punishment (which features often in the series).
There are no English subtitles so you’ll have to work out for yourself
what’s going on.
In the first clip four senior
boys are beaten harshly by their teacher.
In the second clip an exam cheat gets his just deserts and later a teacher seems to have a bit of a turn as he tries to beat a boy.
