Movie: Hope and Glory

 

Hope and Glory is a 1987 British comedy-drama film written, produced and directed by John Boorman and based on his own experiences of growing up in London during the Second World War.

The film tells the story of the Rowan family and their experiences of as seen through the eyes of the son, Billy (Sebastian Rice-Edwards).

This clip is (I think) supposed to be an affectionate portrait of an eccentric headmaster ....

The movie is available for streaming and on DVD.
