TV Comedy: The Pain Men: How much can it hurt?

 

Right here’s the deal. There are two men – grown men – who each week find different ways to inflict severe pain on themselves or each other. Then they go in front of a studio audience and record it for a television show.

Simple. They are (or more accurately, were) The Pain Men and they appeared on a show called Balls of Steel for Channel 4 in the UK for a few years from 2008.

They called themselves Pancho and Pritchard.

Inevitably, they got around to exploring how much pain an old-fashioned rattan school cane could inflict on a bare bottom.
